Mullican Hardwood Flooring Installation

There are several different installation methods for installing new Mohawk flooring – depending on the type of hardwood purchased. It can be nailed, glued, or installed with a floating installation technique. Each type of Mohawk hardwood flooring and installation method has benefits and recommendations. The type of subfloor in the area where the hardwood will be installed must also be considered. Keep in mind, if the subfloor is concrete, the only hardwood that will be feasible is engineered.

Mohawk offers solid, engineered, HDF, and engineered Uniclic flooring. We can help you in selecting the perfect hardwood flooring for your home or office.

Solid hardwood flooring is made from a single 3/4" thick piece of hardwood. While engineered hardwood flooring is produced with three to five very thin layers of hardwood. It is made with a plywood core or a high-density fiberboard core.
