Mohawk Preserve is a stunning White Oak collection that is made of a durable and well-designed engineered hardwood. Engineered hardwood is made from real hardwood that is then cross-ply constructed. Engineered hardwood floors are able to resist the expansion and contraction that is caused by humidity. The collection comes in eight different modern and rustic designs to choose from. Planks are 7.5 inches wide and 9/16 inches thick. These floors can be installed on any level using the glue or float method and the Uniclic locking system. This makes for an installation experience that is quick and easy.
Want to know more about how to care for these floors? To preserve your hardwood floors make sure to avoid mopping them. Instead, sweep or vacuum floors regularly in order to prevent buildup on your floors that can lead to scratches on the wood. To assist with the aging of your wood floors make sure to use protective window coverings and move your rugs and furniture periodically. To prevent wood damage add pads under furniture and avoid wearing rough or spiked heels when walking across the floor.
There are two lighter colors in this series, Frosted and Winter Wheat. Both of these options were inspired by beautiful winters and the stunning snowfalls that come with them. Frosted is a cool toned choice, complete with creamy blonde tones and minimal chestnut detailing. This choice is perfect for anyone who wants their space to have a softer appearance that is elegant. Winter Wheat has a similar pale hue, but is much warmer and more blended than the previous option. Winter Wheat will fit in perfectly with anyone’s interior design, as it is timeless and will match well with anything.
If you are looking for flooring that embraces more nut and cocoa shades, check out Spiced Hazelnut or Blonde. Spiced Hazelnut has a beautiful base tone that is made up of chestnuts and rusty hues, perfected by a subtle red undertone. Be sure to check out this style if you want to add some warmth to your home. Blonde is a beautiful amber color, finished with striking knots and grains throughout the design. Blonde is a great way to spice up your home, and add a comforting ambience. Rye is another darker shade from this series, but it doesn’t have the red undertones that Spiced Hazelnut or Blonde have. The Rye floors are a muted soft brown combination of lighter and darker tones.
This collection also has great choices for those who are looking for something more simple and effortless when it comes to flooring. The first is a gorgeous sandy color called Natural Linen. This choice was influenced by the simple things in life. The color makes for a straightforward, muted design. Another neutral option from this series is Bungalow. This style is great for those who enjoy the natural look, but want it to be more intense and elevated with chocolate browns. Bungalow was inspired by small cottage housing designs, and was created to fit in perfectly with that style of home, although it can bring a quaint and charming aesthetic to any type of home.Silver Satin is another simple and delicate choice, but has more grey and silver undertones. These floors are perfect for anyone who wants to make their home feel more elegant.
