Crossville SpeakEasy

The Crossville SpeakEasy porcelain tile collection is its own best kept façade when it comes to creating a beautiful barnwood look. This porcelain tile dresses and acts like barnwood – it doesn’t know that it’s actually tile – but you do! Or do you? Maybe it should just remain a mystery, especially if you’re looking for actual barnwood but don’t want the fuss of actual hardwood. After all, this particular collection boasts that it looks and feels like true American hardwood.

This pseudo-hardwood selection comes in 5 antiqued, charming colors for you to choose from for your project. The dominant color of this collection is grey, such as with Crossville SpeakEasy Sidecar is a charming heather grey with taupe speckling, giving the Sidecar hue an antiqued look. Silver Screen is a blueish grey color dominated by darker grey stains with occasional light grey streaks melded into the overall grey blend. Zoot Suit dips into the taupe territory as the tan color of this hue has grey grainy overlay, giving the tan a greyed look. This grey look gives the main color of tan an aging look, achieving the overall rustic feeling of this particular hue. Bank Roll perhaps has its name due to its elegant yet rustic look. The rich browns, ranging from dark to light, with hints of grey here and there makes the tile look like wood that has aged gracefully over the years. Sweet Georgia Brown departs the deep greying colors as a light brown color. Rather than taking on an aged look, Sweet Georgia Brown rocks a rustic look and is the “youngest” hue there is in this collection. If you like the styling of this collection but don’t want an already greyed wood, Sweet Georgia Brown would be your best bet on handsome, rustic wood.

The Crossville SpeakEasy flooring selection comes in three great sizes for you to choose from, each one appealing to different tastes when it comes to plank design. There is the long and narrow 6”x36” format for those that enjoy the traditional size of hardwood planks. Next is the slightly wider 8”x36” plank, excellent for those that enjoy the larger plank format style. Finally there is the 12”x36”, a size inspired by contemporary tiles. This size is a complete departure from the wooden plank format in favor of the large tile format to really show off the design of your tile. To complete your look, there is also a Bullnose trim option to really round-out your project and give it the finishing touches you’re looking for.
