So what is an Internet buyer to do? First, get a quote on the whole order. Everyone seems to focus on the main flooring item, looking for the best deal around. Bad start. But the question is what did you get for that .05 more. When you receive realistic, honest advice about your floor and the person on the other end isn't trying to "upsell" you on underlayment you don't need, that .05 is worth ten times more.
